"From my earliest memories of pottery I always loved simple decoration. When I started to produce my own ceramics I mostly combined stripes, dots and simple daisy flowers. Several predecessors to the parlour range existed. Dots , daisies and even tiny cherries were used instead of the rose. When a good friend of mine gave me a tiny, antique porcelain cup decorated with dainty roses, I thought it would be great fun to combine the two.

As soon as the first samples came out of the kiln I knew we had something really special. The Parlour Range has proved to be one of our best sellers; it’s popularity has been constant and it has proved to be as popular in a traditional home as it is in a minimalist, contemporary loft apartment."
